Nawazuddin Siddiqui to feature on India’s Got Latent; actor shoots episode with Samay Raina and Bhuvan Bam
Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to make an appearance on India’s Got Latent, joining comedian and host Samay Raina and actor-content creator Bhuvan Bam for an upcoming episode. The actor has already shot for the episode, which is expected to be released soon.
A source close to the development confirmed the news, saying, “Nawazuddin recently shot for an episode of India’s Got Latent with Samay Raina and Bhuvan Bam. The next episode is expected to be dropped soon.”
Nawazuddin’s appearance on the show comes as the actor continues to balance his work across films and theatre. His participation in the episode is expected to offer audiences a different setting to see the actor, who is known for his work across a range of dramatic and unconventional roles.
The actor has also been active on the theatre circuit. His stage play ‘Naqaab’ recently completed a run in the United States, adding to his association with live performance. The play has been among his recent commitments outside his film projects.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin has resumed work on Tumbbad 2, the much-awaited follow-up to the 2018 cult film Tumbbad. The actor recently travelled to Satara for the next schedule of the sequel. His return to the world of Tumbbad has been closely followed by audiences since the original film developed a strong following after its theatrical release.
The sequel is being mounted several years after the first instalment, with the makers looking to continue the story while expanding its world. Nawazuddin’s involvement remains one of the key aspects of the project as production progresses.
