Preity Zinta visits Kanapathy Temple in Paris on last Monday of Sawan: “This last-minute plan overwhelmed me”
Actress Preity Zinta recently added a spiritual touch to her Paris trip with a visit to the Kanapathy Temple. The actress visited the temple on the last Monday of Sawan and described the experience as an unexpected but deeply meaningful moment. Preity shared glimpses from her visit on Instagram, giving fans a look at the temple and reflecting on how the last-minute plan came together.
Preity Zinta calls temple visit a divine experience
Sharing pictures and videos from the visit, Preity said she had not expected to end up at an Indian temple during her short stay in Paris. “Who would have thought that I would end up going to the most beautiful Indian temple in Paris on the last Monday of Sawan,” she wrote.
The actress revealed that the decision to visit the temple was made at the last minute. However, she said the experience left her feeling as though the visit was something that was always meant to happen. “This last-minute plan overwhelmed me cuz I had a feeling that I was always meant to come here,” Preity added.
She further reflected on the experience, saying, “Wow! The divine and the universe work in unexpected ways.”

Actress thanks friend for taking her to temple
Preity also credited her friend Shailza Swami for taking her to the temple during the Paris trip. Thanking her, the actress said the visit had made her short stay in the city even more memorable. “Thank you my darling @shailzaswami for taking me here & for making my trip. I’m smiling ear to ear. Ting! Har Har Mahadev,” she wrote.
Preity also encouraged her followers who are visiting Paris to check out the Kanapathy Temple. “My short trip to Paris has turned out to be extremely sweet after this visit. If you are in Paris, do check out the Kanapathy Temple folks. I’m sure you will love it just the way I did,” she said.
On the work front, Preity Zinta is currently seen in Batwara 1947. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced under Aamir Khan Productions, the film stars Sunny Deol, Shabana Azmi, Karan Deol, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh alongside Preity.
