Virat Kohli buys new flat in Mumbai’s Versova worth

Star cricketer Virat Kohli, along with wife Anushka Sharma, have reportedly bought a brand new flat in Mumbai. The apartment is said to be located in the city’s Versova region and is worth a whopping INR 18.29 crore. The move hints towards the couple’s potential return to their home country from London, their current residence, but no official sources have confirmed this thus far.

What is the location of Virat-Anushka’s latest apartment in Mumbai?

The latest apartment of the power couple is situated in Versova’s Godrej Skyshore, Tower A. The luxury property is located on the twenty-fourth floor of the tower, making it a sight to behold. It has a carpet area of 2644.8 square feet, which translates to roughly 216.30 square metres. It also includes parking space for up to three cars.

According to Zapkey, Virat has purchased the flat, with registration completed on July 21, 2026, whereas the formalities and documentation work were done a couple of weeks prior. The registration fee of the apartment was INR 30,000. The per-square-foot value of the apartment is calculated as INR 69,159 on the RERA carpet area. Additionally, the duo also paid a stamp duty of INR 1.09 crore. 

What’s next in cricket for Virat Kohli?

Virat is currently enjoying a break from international cricket. The veteran India batter recently finished the tour of England, where he played a decent hand for the Men in Blue. Virat had a successful series, scoring 144 runs at an average of 48.00, which includes a couple of half-centuries in the three innings he featured in. However, the Indian team lost the series as the hosts reigned supreme by a 2-1 margin.

He is expected to feature next against the West Indies for a home series, where the Indians will be hosting the Caribbean side for three one-day internationals. The series will kick off on September 27, meaning that the 37-year-old may get a detour of more than two months from any form of professional cricket.

The first ODI between India and West Indies will be played in Trivandrum, while the second and third will be played in Guwahati and New Chandigarh, respectively.
