The Great Grand Superhero to premiere on KidZ on Zee 5 on August 21
KidZ is set to bring a story of childhood, imagination and family bonds to screens with The Great Grand Superhero, which will premiere exclusively on KidZ on Zee 5 on August 21, 2026. Directed by Manish Saini, the Hindi fantasy drama stars Jackie Shroff along with Prateik Babbar, Bhagyashree, Sharat Saxena, Mihir Godbole and others.
The film revolves around Dipu, a young boy who struggles to make friends whenever his father’s transferable job takes the family to a new city. Hoping to find acceptance at his new school, Dipu tells his classmates that his grandfather is actually a superhero whose identity can only be discovered by children.
What begins as an innocent claim soon sparks the curiosity and imagination of Dipu’s classmates. As the children wait to see the mysterious superhero in action, Dipu’s grandfather decides to go along with the story and takes them on an adventure where fantasy and reality begin to merge. The film combines humour, adventure and emotion while exploring the power of belief, friendship and imagination.
