The Gupta name has emerged as the most common, with 12 families making it to the prestigious list. This puts them ahead of Agarwal, who follow closely with 11 families. The Jain and Patel names are tied with 10 families each, showing their strong presence across industries. Meanwhile, the Shah name has climbed to eight families, reflecting its growing influence.

Other notable mentions include Mehta and Goenka with five families each, while Singh holds four. New entrants Poddar and Desai have made their mark with three families each, signalling fresh names joining the ranks of India’s most valuable dynasties.

REDDY TOPS FIRST-GENERATION FAMILIES

On the entrepreneurial side, the Reddy name leads with nine families, showing how first-generation businesses are carving out their own space. The Jain name appears again with five families, while Agarwal follows with three.

Seven other surnames, including Mittal, Rao, Singh, Prasad, Shah, Mehta and Thakkar, each have two families represented.
