Sunny Leone’s Horror Comedy ‘Chudail’ Set for September Clash with ‘The Vvaan’
Sunny Leone is set to headline the upcoming horror comedy titled Chudail, which is aiming for a major theatrical rollout towards the end of September. According to details shared by producer Mahendra Dhariwal, the film may release alongside the Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia starrer The Vvaan, while plans for other major cinematic projects, including Maa Tujhhe Salaam 2, have also been reaffirmed.
What Happened
As reported by Mid-Day, the makers of Chudail are aiming for a theatrical premiere by the end of September. This timeline places the movie on course for a potential box-office face-off against The Vvaan, a film starring Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia that is scheduled to hit cinema screens on September 25.
Producer Mahendra Dhariwal explained the strategic timing of the release, stating that horror films are currently trending and driving audience interest. Alongside Dhariwal, the film is produced by Rocky Sandhu and Paramveer Sandhu, with T L V Prasad serving as director.
The feature stars Mandana Karimi as the primary adversary opposite Sunny Leone. The ensemble cast also includes Rahul Dev, Dev Gill, comedian Brahmanandam, and Sunil of Pushpa fame.
