Shanaya Kapoor brings art deco glamour to the runway in a champagne-silver cut-out ensemble for OBLIQUE

Shanaya Kapoor took on showstopper duties for OBLIQUE, bringing the collection’s theme of alter egos to the runway. The actress appeared in a champagne-and-silver embellished ensemble that combined a contemporary silhouette with Art Deco-inspired detailing. The showcase explored ideas of identity and hidden personas through reflective elements, fluid silhouettes and structured designs.

Kapoor’s outfit featured a cropped bustier with a plunging sweetheart neckline, wide straps and a cut-out at the midriff. Paired with a fitted column skirt, the ensemble stood out for its metallic embellishments and geometric embroidery. The skirt featured a chevron-patterned waistband, with detailing extending into geometric motifs and vertical beadwork. She completed the look with diamond cluster earrings, dewy makeup and her shoulder-length brunette bob styled in loose, windswept waves.

The appearance added another fashion outing to Kapoor’s growing public profile. Her association with OBLIQUE also brought her into a collection centred on contrasts, using reflective textures and structured silhouettes to interpret the idea of an alter ego. Rather than relying on elaborate accessories, the look kept the focus on the ensemble, with its champagne-and-silver palette tying the different elements together.

Away from the runway, Kapoor has been building her screen career through projects across Hindi and regional cinema. She headlined Bejoy Nambiar’s romantic thriller Tu Yaa Main, which released in theatres in February 2026, and starred opposite Vikrant Massey in Santosh Singh’s romantic musical drama Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. She was also associated with Vrushabha, the multilingual fantasy action drama headlined by Mohanlal and directed by Nanda Kishore, which marked her entry into a pan-Indian project.

On the upcoming front, Kapoor is associated with Student of the Year 3, which is expected to take the franchise into the streaming space under Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment. She has also been linked to Zombie Reddy 2 (NXT LVL), the Telugu horror-comedy sequel directed by Suparn Varma.

As Kapoor continues to explore opportunities across screen projects and fashion appearances, her turn as OBLIQUE’s showstopper places her within a showcase that draws on contemporary design and personal expression. The runway appearance comes alongside her ongoing efforts to establish a presence across different film industries.
