Ramayana team attends Gold House’s prestigious Gold Diwali in Los Angeles; Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari among attendees
The team behind the much-anticipated magnum opus Ramayana was among the highlights of Gold House’s prestigious Gold Diwali, the organisation’s signature celebration of the Festival of Lights, held at The Majestic Downtown in Los Angeles. Bringing together prominent voices from across the South Asian diaspora, the celebration served as a global platform to showcase the community’s heritage, creativity and growing cultural influence.
The evening was organised in association with the team behind Ramayana, with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Yash attending alongside producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari and Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari. Their presence added to the significance of the celebration, which brought together influential personalities from the worlds of entertainment, business, fashion and culture. Actor Sanya Malhotra was also among the VIP guests, alongside Richa Moorjani, Hannah Simone, Asif Ali, Avani Gregg, Anirudh Pisharody and Meena Harris, among others.
Entrepreneur Rohini Iyer took the stage as one of the evening’s co-hosts, joining Bing Chen, Founder of Gold House, Freida Pinto, Tan France, Rhea Raj, Avantika, Yash Dongre and Anita Verma-Lallian. For Rohini, the occasion marked another significant chapter in her association with Gold House, having previously attended the organisation’s Gold Gala and participated in its celebrations.
Gold Diwali celebrated the spirit of the Festival of Lights through an immersive gathering of the South Asian diaspora, bringing together influential voices to recognise the community’s heritage, traditions and achievements. With the Ramayana team in attendance, the evening also offered a significant international platform for one of India’s most anticipated cinematic ventures.
