Karan Johar cheers for Teja Sajja as he hosts The Traitors Telugu
Karan Johar has extended his support to Teja Sajja as the actor takes on hosting duties for The Traitors Telugu. Having hosted the Hindi edition of the reality show, Karan is familiar with the format, which revolves around deception, strategy, shifting loyalties and unexpected twists. His support for Teja marks a crossover moment between the hosts of the two editions.
Known for its focus on trust and betrayal, The Traitors challenges contestants to navigate a game in which every decision can change the course of the competition. With Karan having guided the Hindi version through its share of mind games and strategic moves, his experience with the format adds context to his encouragement for Teja as he steps into the host’s role for the Telugu edition.
Teja Sajja, who is known for his work in films and his portrayal of a superhero on screen, will now lead the Telugu adaptation of the reality show. As the host, he will oversee the game as contestants navigate alliances, attempt to identify deception and make strategic decisions to stay ahead. The format places trust at the centre of the competition, with participants required to assess one another while protecting their own positions in the game.
Karan’s support also brings together two editions of the same franchise, highlighting the connection between the Hindi and Telugu versions. While the two editions cater to different language audiences, the central premise remains the same: contestants must rely on their instincts, question the intentions of others and make calculated moves as the game unfolds.
With Teja at the helm, The Traitors Telugu brings the format to a new audience, retaining the elements of suspense, strategy and betrayal that define the show. Karan’s encouragement adds another point of connection between the two hosts as the Telugu edition continues its run.
