Anandani replaces Prabha Narasimhan who is resigning as MD and CEO following her promotion to executive vice president – marketing, Asia-Pacific division of Colgate-Palmolive.

Colgate-Palmolive (India) Ltd has appointed Manish Anandani as its new managing director and chief executive officer, replacing Prabha Narasimhan, who will step down from the role on September 27, 2026.
The company’s board approved Anandani’s appointment at its meeting on August 21. He will take charge as MD and CEO for a five-year term starting September 28, 2026, subject to shareholders’ approval and other applicable statutory approvals.
Narasimhan is resigning as MD and CEO following her promotion to executive vice president – marketing, Asia-Pacific division of Colgate-Palmolive. She will cease to be a director of the company and step down from her committee roles from September 27.
In her resignation letter, Narasimhan said, “I hereby resign from the position of Managing Director & CEO of Colgate-Palmolive (India) Limited with effect from close of business on September 27, 2026. Consequently, I shall also cease to be a Director of the Company and Member of Stakeholders’ Relationship Committee, ESG & Corporate Social Responsibility Committee and Risk Management Committee of the Company effective aforesaid date. It has been my pleastue to serve on the Board as Managing Director and CEO of the Company. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the distinguished members of the Board and the Leadership Team for the support extended to me dtuing my tentue.”
Who is Manish Anandani?
Anandani brings around 30 years of experience across sales, marketing, general management and senior leadership roles. Before returning to Colgate-Palmolive, he was Managing Director for India and South Asia at Kenvue, formerly Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health.
He has also held senior roles at Kenvue, including Managing Director of Johnson & Johnson Philippines and Vice President of Sales and Professional Marketing for India.
Anandani is not new to Colgate-Palmolive. He joined the company in 2005 as a Regional Manager and went on to hold several roles across India, Indochina and the company’s corporate office before leaving in 2018. In his last role at Colgate-Palmolive, he was Worldwide Director in the Global Customer Development function, where he helped strengthen the company’s capabilities in retail marketing and shopper development.
The company said Anandani has expertise in enterprise strategy, digital and e-commerce transformation, and market expansion across developed and emerging economies. He holds a degree in Electronics, an MBA in Marketing and an Executive MBA in Leadership from the Tuck School of Business in the US.
The regulatory filing also states that none of Colgate-Palmolive India’s directors are related to Anandani and that he is not debarred from holding the office of director by SEBI or any other authority.
The leadership change comes as Narasimhan moves to a larger Asia-Pacific marketing role within the Colgate-Palmolive group, while Anandani returns to the company after eight years with experience in consumer healthcare, sales, marketing and business transformation.
