‘Chhad De’ from Meethe Mein Kya Hai explores love, letting go and new beginnings; song out now
The makers of Meethe Mein Kya Hai have released ‘Chhad De’, the latest song from the upcoming family entertainer directed by debutant filmmaker Radhika Bansal. Following the festive mood of the previously released track ‘Jagmaga’, the new song brings together themes of hope, romance and fresh beginnings. Composed by Amit Trivedi, ‘Chhad De’ features the vocals of Mohit Chauhan and Akanksha Sethi, with lyrics penned by Kumaar.
Built around a melodic composition and a memorable refrain, the song explores the idea of moving forward by letting go of worries and things that hold one back. Rather than looking at the past, ‘Chhad De’ focuses on the possibilities that lie ahead, offering a musical take on embracing change and making room for new experiences.

Meethe Mein Kya Hai is set over four days during Diwali at the family matriarch’s home in Lucknow. The film follows a multigenerational family reunion, exploring the chaos, affection and unexpected developments that emerge when relatives come together under one roof.
Written and directed by Radhika Bansal, the upcoming family entertainer aims to capture the dynamics of family relationships against the backdrop of the festive season. The film is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on October 30.
