Qazi Touqeer’s Bigg Boss 20 journey
Qazi entered Bigg Boss 20 with a high-energy persona and quickly became one of the most visible faces of the season. During the first week, his “I’m a Rockstar baby, aau!” catchphrase and dramatic antics caught viewers’ attention. Salman Khan also called him the house’s “only rockstar” during the first Weekend Ka Vaar and gave him a special concert moment.
Qazi’s presence remained strong during the following weeks as he participated in tasks, singing sessions and several confrontations. His “lollipop” remark aimed at Kanika Mann sparked criticism, while his clashes with Yung DSA during captaincy tasks added to his controversial run. He was also involved in arguments surrounding Rhiti Tiwari and Uditi Singh.
The contestant later faced a genuine health setback after developing fever and dengue. Exit rumours surfaced during the period, but his team confirmed that he remained in the show. Salman subsequently defended Qazi and questioned the way some housemates behaved towards him while he was unwell.
Despite the controversies, Qazi continued to maintain a strong presence in the house. He won the Flipkart Icon title and a cash prize of Rs 5 lakh and remained among the contestants frequently discussed in fan popularity rankings.
In the later weeks, Qazi continued to find himself at the centre of several conversations inside the house. His clashes with Yung DSA continued, while his recent confrontation with Asif Khan over his “dil ka daura” or “heart attack” remark became another major talking point. The argument escalated into a physical confrontation, with Asif headbutting Qazi.
