Bharath urges public to utilise free medical camp in Kurnool
Industries and Commerce Minister T.G. Bharath Gupta has urged the public to make the most of the free mega medical camp organised at Gauri Gopal Hospital in Kurnool. A free medical camp is being held at the hospital on the 16th of every month for the residents of Kurnool constituency to mark the birthday of his father, former Rajya Sabha member T.G. Venkatesh.
The camp held on Sunday evoked good response, with approximately 127 people participating and undergoing medical check-ups. Services worth nearly ₹6,000 were provided to the public free of cost. The camp offered blood tests, RBS, ECG, 2D Echo, TMT, Ultrasound (KUB), Chest X-ray, and consultations with paediatricians, cardiologists, ophthalmologists, and dentists. Screenings revealed that six individuals had heart-related issues and nine had eye-related problems.
The Minister stated that the programme aims to detect health issues early and ensure timely treatment.
