Belrise Industries Limited, one of India’s leading manufacturers of automotive and aerospace components, has acquired the Tipper Body Business of Hyva India Private Limited, a subsidiary of JOST Werke SE. The acquisition marks another milestone in Belrise’s expansion strategy and strengthens its position as a Tier-0.5 supplier in the commercial vehicle industry.
The transaction, valued at approximately USD 5.65 million, has been completed at an Enterprise Value (EV) to EBITDA multiple of about 3.60x. The acquisition supports Belrise’s long-term objective of expanding its presence in the commercial vehicle segment while building capabilities for fast-growing sectors such as construction, mining, infrastructure and defence.
Hyva India’s Tipper Body Business is a well-established manufacturer of tipping solutions used across a wide range of commercial applications. The business has developed strong engineering and product design capabilities and supplies complete tipper body solutions to all of India’s top five commercial vehicle manufacturers.
During calendar year 2025, the business reported an EBITDA of approximately USD 1.57 million and delivered a Return on Average Capital Employed (ROACE) of nearly 20 percent, reflecting its operational efficiency and financial strength. The acquisition also expands Belrise’s customer base by adding a leading European commercial vehicle OEM to its portfolio. In addition, the company will strengthen its manufacturing footprint through facilities located in Pune, Jamshedpur and Bengaluru, enabling it to serve customers more efficiently across key industrial regions.

Belrise operates 22 manufacturing facilities in India and two in Europe, serving 38 OEMs across automotive, aerospace and defence sectors.
