Hyderabad will host ‘K-Harmony Festa 2026’, a Korean cultural festival featuring traditional arts, music, Taekwondo demonstrations and a K-pop performance, at Shilpakala Vedika on Sunday (October 25, 2026). The event will open to visitors at 1 p.m. on October 25, while the opening ceremony is scheduled for 5.30 p.m. at the venue.

The festival is part of Korea Culture Day 2026, being organised under the theme ‘One Light, Two Cities’, highlighting the cultural connection between Seoul and Hyderabad. Organised by the Korean Cultural Centre India in collaboration with the Telangana government, the festival aims to strengthen cultural ties between India and the Republic of Korea while showcasing Telangana’s artistic heritage to an international audience.

Telangana and Korean traditional art forms

The festival will feature performances of Telangana’s traditional Perini dance and Dappulu alongside Korean traditional and contemporary art forms. Korean music performances and Taekwondo demonstrations will also form part of the programme, with K-pop boy group NTX among the major attractions.

“International cultural festivals play an important role in fostering mutual understanding and promoting friendship between countries. Such events also provide an opportunity to showcase Telangana’s rich historical heritage, folk arts and cultural traditions on an international platform,” said Telangana Tourism and Culture Minister Jupally Krishna Rao.
