Equirus Securities view on Whirlpool of India
The financial year 2025-26 (FY26) was a challenging year- a washed-out summer, intense competition and regulatory-led cost headwinds pressured margins even as Whirlpool of India sustained share gains and delivered a clear H2 inflection.
Structurally, the parent’s stake reduction and the concluded 30-year agreement reset the ownership narrative while securing strategic continuity. Analysts at Equirus Securities, in their FY26 annual report analysis said that they stay constructive on premiumization, localization and execution, with margin recovery, competitive intensity and the residual stake sell-down as the key monitorables.
