He appeared in over 200 films and was widely appreciated for his supporting roles and comedic characters. Some of his most memorable performances include roles in Friends, Chennai 600028, Kushi, Panchathanthiram, and Sivakasi. His effortless humour and chemistry with co-actors like Vadivelu and Vivek made him a staple in Tamil comedies.

Apart from acting, Madhan Bob also served as a judge on the popular television show Asatha Povathu Yaaru, where his candid remarks and sense of humour endeared him to TV audiences
