Tamannaah Bhatia addresses dating rumours with Abdul Razzaq and Virat Kohli: “It was so embarrassing”
Actress Tamannaah Bhatia recently cleared the air around long-standing rumours that have linked her with former Pakistani cricketer Abdul Razzaq and Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. In a candid interview with The Lallantop, the actress spoke openly about how such baseless speculations continue to circulate online and how she has learned to navigate the misinformation with a sense of humour.
Tamannaah Bhatia On Rumours With Abdul Razzaq
Tamannaah recalled an incident from 2020 when a photo of her and Abdul Razzaq at a jewellery store event began circulating widely on social media, sparking unfounded rumours about a possible relationship or even marriage.
Reacting with a mix of amusement and disbelief, she said, “Mazaak mazaak mein Abdul Razzaq! The Internet is a fun place. According to the internet, I was briefly married to Abdul Razzaq. I’m sorry sir. Aapke do-teen bachche hai. I don’t know about your life, but it was so embarrassing.”
She emphasized that the event was purely professional and that there was no personal connection beyond that single public appearance.
Clarification on Virat Kohli Link-Up
Tamannaah also addressed older rumours that linked her with Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli after the two appeared in a commercial together years ago.
Setting the record straight, she said, “I feel so bad because I literally met him for only one day. I have never met Virat after the shoot. Na maine unse baat ki, na unse mili hoon.”
Speaking of the professional front, the 35-year-old actress is currently gearing up for an exciting slate of projects. She will be seen alongside Ajay Devgn in Ranger and stars opposite Sidharth Malhotra in the upcoming Vvan. She’s also part of No Entry 2 with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor, as well as an untitled film featuring John Abraham.
