Shahid Kapoor and Mira Kapoor reveal breakfast rituals, fitness secrets and quirky morning habits; watch
When it comes to breakfast in the Kapoor household, there is one staple that never changes a steaming plate of uttapams. In the latest episode of Tweak India’s Morning Chai, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput Kapoor opened up about their daily rituals, fitness favourites, and the little quirks that define their mornings.
Mira Kapoor revealed, “Typical breakfast is Uttapam because that’s what Shahid likes to eat. Monday to Sunday, whether we are in India or in Sardinia, or in Antarctica, we will be having Uttapam, Sambar and Chutney.” For Shahid, however, the mornings are also about Mira’s preferred choice. “Mira likes Poha and coffee,” the actor added with a smile.
Beyond food, the couple also discussed how they squeeze fitness into their routines. Mira shared her go-to workout hack, saying, “I have the coolest thing on Amazon. It is a stepping machine. You step on that. You stay in one place and you can climb 20-30 floors staying in one place. If you have 10 minutes to do it, do that.”

Shahid, on the other hand, swore by his favourite fitness wear. “Athletifreak Tshirts, Athletifreak tracks,” he revealed when asked about his workout essentials. Mira also chimed in with her pick, stating, “My favourites are actually sports bras and the tights because they’re very supportive, but they don’t cut into the body.”
Adding a touch of fun to the conversation, Mira playfully disclosed one of Shahid’s unique morning habits. “Shahid has a breathing technique that he does to wake-up his digestion and his agni but I am not going to show it to you,” she said, leaving viewers curious.
From Uttapams on the table to quirky fitness hacks, the couple’s candid revelations gave fans a glimpse into the simple yet structured rhythm of mornings in the Kapoor household.
