The trailer of The Raja Saab, starring Prabhas, has been released, sparking widespread buzz among audiences. Marketed as India’s biggest horror-fantasy drama, the film combines supernatural elements with family emotions, comedy, and romance.
The nearly three-and-a-half-minute trailer introduces viewers to a world of grandeur and mystery. It opens with Prabhas’ character under the influence of hypnosis by Boman Irani’s character, setting the tone for a story steeped in suspense. Interspersed with moments of light-hearted romance, the trailer highlights Prabhas’ energetic and playful side, while also hinting at a darker narrative rooted in ancestral legacy and faith.
A flashback sequence shows an elderly woman worshipping Goddess Durga for her grandson, followed by haunting visuals of a sprawling Haveli, action-driven sequences, and a powerful score. Sanjay Dutt appears in a rugged and eerie avatar, amplifying the tension. The trailer closes with the revelation of Prabhas in a double role, hinting at larger twists awaiting in the film.
While the film has gained widespread attention for its production scale, the makers revealed that the film’s set includes one of the largest horror backdrops ever built in India, designed to create an immersive environment. The trailer launch itself became a fan event, with screenings held across 105 theatres in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Simultaneously, the trailer was released online by People Media Factory, drawing global attention.

The overwhelming response to the trailer, both online and in theatres, has strengthened our belief that the film will strike a chord with audiences everywhere. The Raja Saab features Prabhas alongside Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the film will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, with music composed by Thaman S. Scheduled for release on January 9, 2026, the film positions itself as a mix of fantasy, horror, and emotions.
