The madness is back — and fans of Bollywood’s most iconic adult comedy franchise have every reason to celebrate! Masti 4, the fourth installment in the cult favourite Masti series, has officially wrapped up its latest shooting schedule with a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony.
The joyous wrap-up moment saw the film’s core trio — Aftab Shivdasani, Vivek Oberoi, and Riteish Deshmukh — joined by Tusshar Kapoor, who is all set to bring his signature comic timing into the mix. The photo, which has now gone viral, shows the cast standing in front of a lush green lawn, preparing to cut not one but three cakes as they marked a key milestone on this highly anticipated project.
The film’s team captioned the celebratory post, “And it’s a schedule wrap for @tusshark89 @shaadrandhawa and @nishantsinghm_official on #Mastiii4… Get ready for some mad laughs coming your way this year in cinemas!!!”

Directed by Milap Zaveri, known for his no-holds-barred comic writing, and produced by franchise veteran Indra Kumar, Masti 4 is expected to turn up the heat with its usual blend of outrageous humor, slapstick setups, and a lineup of glam and quirky characters.
Joining the madness this time are fresh faces including Nishant Malkani, Elnaaz Norouzi, Ruhi Singh, and Natalia Janoszek, who will be adding a new layer of chaos and comedy to the franchise’s already explosive mix.
Meanwhile, the Masti journey began back in 2004 with the original film directed by Indra Kumar, which was praised for pushing boundaries in the comedy genre. It struck gold at the box office, quickly becoming a cult favourite among youth audiences.
Its sequel, Grand Masti (2013), took the naughty humor up several notches and even crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark — a rare feat for an adult comedy in India. The third film, Great Grand Masti (2016), tried to replicate the formula but had a lukewarm box office run, partly due to leaks and a pre-release piracy hit. Now, after almost a decade, Masti 4 aims to bring back the franchise’s original charm with a modern twist and a powerhouse cast.
While the exact release date is under wraps, the team’s latest update confirms that the film is expected to hit cinemas somewhere this year, promising audiences a riotous ride filled with old-school camaraderie, fresh madness, and plenty of jaw-dropping moments. If the buzz around the shoot wrap is anything to go by, fans should brace themselves for a wild and hilarious theatrical experience.
