Lunar eclipse is not harmful. There is no need for people of various zodiac signs to panic about the ill-effects of the celestial event, founder of Art of Living Sri Sri Ravishankar said in Gadag on Sunday.

The seer was visiting various historical temples in Gadag and surrounding areas. He offered prayers and performed special puja in some temples.

He visited the Sri Veera Narayana temple, Sri Trikuteshwar temple and other such places. He spoke to various priests and community leaders.

He told reporters that according to the scriptures, the time of the eclipse is to be spent in meditation and worship. He asked believers to come to temples during eclipses and meditate.

He refused to comment on the controversy surrounding Dharmasthala.
