CM asked to address concerns over Global Ayyappa gathering

BJP National Executive Committee member P.K. Krishnadas on Monday (September 1) demanded that Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and the Devaswom Board clarify their stance on key issues related to Sabarimala before holding the Global Ayyappa Sangamam.

Addressing a press conference in Kannur, Mr. Krishnadas said that the BJP has no objection to the gathering but pointed out that organisations such as the NSS, SNDP, and Hindu Aikyavedi have raised concerns that the government must address. He accused the Chief Minister and the Left government of encouraging violations of rituals at Sabarimala.

BJP State Secretary K. Ranjith, regional president K. Srikanth, and Kannur North district president K.K. Vinod Kumar were also present at the press conference.
