15 injured as bus collides with truck in Kozhikode

More than 15 passengers sustained injuries in a road accident involving a private bus and a truck at Tharol near Thiruvambadi in Kozhikode district on Thursday. The head-on collision took place around 1.30 p.m. Police sources said no one sustained grave injuries. The majority of the injured were admitted to a private hospital at Omassery. Traffic was interrupted for hours on the Omassery-Thiruvambadi route following the incident.
