Ramayana Day 3 Advance Booking: Ranbir Kapoor–Yash starrer sells 12.19 lakh tickets; collects Rs. 47.05 cr. gross
The advance booking for Ramayana continues to gather momentum as the Ranbir Kapoor and Yash starrer gears up for its third day at the box office. The much-awaited mythological epic has registered advance ticket sales worth a staggering Rs. 47.05 crores gross. A total of 12,19,924 tickets have been sold across 22,572 shows, indicating the massive audience interest in the film.
The state-wise advance booking figures paint an interesting picture. Maharashtra leads the charge with advance sales of Rs. 9.81 crores gross, accounting for 1,79,700 tickets across 3,677 shows. Karnataka is not far behind, registering an impressive Rs. 8.59 crores gross from 1,68,309 tickets across 1,434 shows. The strong performance in Karnataka is particularly noteworthy, given Yash’s enormous popularity in the state. Meanwhile, the National Capital Region (NCR) has also recorded encouraging numbers, with advance bookings worth Rs. 5.12 crores gross and 82,431 tickets sold across 2,016 shows.
At the city level, Mumbai has registered advance sales of Rs. 2.35 crores gross from 41,668 tickets. Bengaluru, meanwhile, has emerged as a major contributor, with two reported booking figures of Rs. 2.06 crores and Rs. 1.92 crores gross, respectively, highlighting the strong demand for the film in the city.
With advance bookings crossing the 12 lakh-ticket mark, Ramayana is witnessing significant traction for its third day. The film’s performance across Maharashtra, Karnataka and NCR suggests that audience interest remains strong across key theatrical markets. The big question now is how much higher the film can soar through spot bookings and whether its Sunday collections can deliver the kind of blockbuster numbers expected from a film of this scale.
