Bigg Boss 20: Mahhi Vij threatens to quit Salman Khan-hosted show after Love Gill’s mother SLAMS her over “nanga kar deti” remarks; says, “I am not here to spoil my name”
The upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 20 will see Mahhi Vij lose her composure after Love Gill’s mother addresses her comments about the contestant during a family message task. The incident leaves Mahhi visibly upset, with the actress questioning the makers’ portrayal of her and threatening to walk out of the show.
The task, which began on Tuesday’s episode, gave contestants an opportunity to receive messages and photographs from their families. Bigg Boss asked the housemates to dance on a disc-shaped platform before presenting them with a choice: they could either secure a lifeline by destroying another contestant’s family message and photograph or sacrifice their own lifeline to let that contestant receive the message.
While Manish Goel gave up his lifeline for Qazi Touqeer, Gullu sacrificed his chance for Kanika Mann. The task brought several emotional moments as contestants listened to messages from their loved ones.
Love Gill’s mother questions Mahhi Vij’s remarks
In the upcoming episode, Love will receive a message from her mother, who will address Mahhi’s earlier comments about her. Referring to Mahhi’s remark, Love’s mother will say, “I just want to tell Mahhiji, you should think that you have a daughter too.” She will also repeat the remark in Punjabi.
The comment refers to an earlier conversation between Mahhi and Arishfa during the Love Gill-Scout OP-Kaashvi controversy. Mahhi had then said, “I don’t want to bring up this conversation because Scout is involved; I don’t want him to be involved, nahi toh main do-minute main isko nanga karke bol deti that you don’t have any self-respect. His girlfriend came and insulted you, and you are still dying to get his attention.”
Mahhi denied making the comment when it was brought up during the family task. However, the incident appeared to affect her, and she later broke down while speaking to Uditi Singh and Arishfa.
Mahhi Vij questions makers’ portrayal of her
Upset with how her comments were being presented, Mahhi accused the makers of focusing only on her statements and ignoring what other contestants said. She said, “I am just feeling that they are only showing my comments. If this is the scene, I will not continue on the show. I don’t even want the money; they can go to hell.”
She further expressed concern about how her family and people outside the house would perceive her. “I feel so heavy. Why are they targeting me for everything? I also have a family outside who are watching. Everyone talks here and makes comments; they say things more than I do. I am not here to spoil my name like this; I can’t continue like this,” she added.
The disagreement comes after Mahhi and Love’s argument during the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode, when Salman Khan addressed Mahhi’s conversations about Love with other contestants.
Salman Khan had earlier confronted Mahhi
During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan also reprimanded Mahhi for her response to Rohit Shetty’s feedback. He questioned her contribution to the show and said that she had not met the expectations associated with her entry.
“Mahhi, what have you contributed to the show? When the season started, you were amongst the top names. But you have not even come close to expectations so far. The housemates have been telling you, but you are in denial. I cannot share outside information with you, but people are asking What are you doing on the show? Last week Rohit gave you a reality check, but you argued with him too rather than working on it,” Salman said.
He also reminded her that the team had pursued her for nearly 10 years to participate in the reality show and asked her to decide how she wanted to move forward.
Qazi Touqeer and Mahhi Vij to clash over family task
The upcoming episode will also feature an argument between Mahhi and Qazi. Qazi will sacrifice his lifeline so that Mahhi can receive a message from her children. However, Mahhi will later destroy the message and photograph, leaving Qazi’s sacrifice in vain. The singer will confront her over the decision.
The family task, which has already brought several emotional moments inside the house, is therefore set to trigger further disagreements among the contestants.
