Directed by Anees Bazmee, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was released during Diwali 2024. The third instalment in the franchise saw Kartik return as Rooh Baba, while Vidya Balan reprised her role as Manjulika, marking her return to the series after the original 2007 film. The cast also included Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles, with Rajpal Yadav returning as Chota Pandit.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Cine1 Studios, the film brought together familiar characters from the franchise while introducing new elements to its story. Its Diwali release also placed it in a major box-office clash during the festive period.
The anniversary post revisited one of the film’s most recognisable character combinations, with Kartik, Vidya and Rajpal sharing screen space in a more candid setting. By bringing Rooh Baba, Manjulika and Chota Pandit together again, the actor offered fans a reminder of the characters and comic moments that formed a key part of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
