AMU Business Administration Department Hosts Guest Lecture on Sales and Marketing – India Education | Latest Education News | Global Educational News

ALIGARH, October 23: The Co-Curricular Committee of the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Studies and Research, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), organised a guest lecture by alumnus Mr Muhammad Aamir Irfan, Director, Sales and Marketing, GP Global Mag LLC, UAE, on industry expectations and professional development.

Addressing students, Mr Irfan, an alumnus of the 2001–2003 batch, emphasised the importance of developing teamwork, practical skills and professional networks alongside academic achievement. He advised students to prepare their resumes early and tailor them to the requirements of individual employers. Highlighting the growing role of artificial intelligence, he encouraged students to embrace AI as a learning tool and cultivate curiosity by continually asking questions.

Prof. Valeed A. Ansari, in his introductory remarks, described learning as a continuous process. Prof. Salma Ahmad, Chairperson of the Department, welcomed the guest and appreciated his continued support in facilitating placement opportunities for students, describing it as a meaningful way to give back to one’s alma mater.

Prof. Saboohi Nasim, faculty member of the Faculty of Management Studies and Research, delivered the closing remarks and thanked Mr Irfan for sharing his professional experience and insights.

The programme included an interactive question-and-answer session with students and concluded with a vote of thanks.
