Karnataka, Montana identify areas for tech collaboration | India Business News
Bengaluru: Karnataka and the US state of Montana have identified quantum and photonics, precision agriculture, biosciences, semiconductors and aerospace as priority areas for technology collaboration.The areas were discussed at a meeting on Tuesday between Karnataka IT minister Priyank Kharge and Montana governor Greg Gianforte on Tuesday, along with IT secretary N Manjula and Avinash Menon, MD of Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS). The discussions explored opportunities to expand cooperation in technology, research, innovation and market access across these sectors.The engagement is expected to strengthen links between companies, startups, research institutions and innovation ecosystems in Karnataka and Montana.
