Telangana ACB searches 13 locations linked to NIMS Additional Superintendent in disproportionate assets case

Telangana Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday (September 22, 2026) launched simultaneous searches at 13 locations linked to Nori Lakshmi Bhaskar, Additional Superintendent of Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), in connection with a disproportionate assets case.

Multiple ACB teams searched his residence and office as well as properties linked to his family members. One of the locations searched was Kalpataruvu Apartments in Erragadda.

Officials were examining property records, financial documents and other material as part of the investigation into allegations that Dr. Bhaskar had accumulated assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Dr. Bhaskar has been working at NIMS for around two decades and has served as its Additional Superintendent for the past five years. The searches were continuing and details of the assets and properties identified during the operation were awaited.
