Infosys expands Indore centre | India Business News
Bengaluru: Infosys has expanded its Indore development centre by inaugurating a new 330,000-sq ft software development block at its campus. The Indore centre currently employs more than 3,300 people, supporting global clients across banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), retail, life sciences and manufacturing. The expanded centre will strengthen capabilities in cloud, application development, artificial intelligence and machine learning, and cybersecurity.The expansion will also enable Infosys to tap the region’s growing technology talent pool. The company plans to deepen its engagement with Madhya Pradesh’s academic and technology ecosystem through skilling programmes and institutional partnerships, including with IIT Indore, IIM Indore and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV).Madhya Pradesh chief minister Mohan Yadav said the investment would create employment opportunities for skilled youth and strengthen the state’s technology ecosystem.Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka said the expansion would help the company leverage the region’s talent pool and strengthen capabilities in AI, cloud and digital technologies. It also reinforces Infosys’ long-term commitment to Madhya Pradesh through continued investment and employment opportunities, he said.
