Nifty50 Today | Bahrain court rejects two claims against HDFC Bank over Credit Suisse AT1 bonds
HDFC Bank said a Bahrain court has rejected two claims filed against the bank by investors in Credit Suisse Additional Tier 1 (CS AT1) bonds.
Between July and August this year, the Bahrain court had rejected five other similar matters filed by investors in CS AT1 bonds, taking the total number of favourable judgments for the bank to seven.
The court rejected the allegations and concluded that the investors had failed to produce sufficient admissible evidence to substantiate their claims against the bank or establish that they had suffered any loss due to the bank, PTI reported.
HDFC Bank was quoting at Rs 683.90, down Rs 10.10, or 1.46 percent.
It has touched a 52-week low of Rs 682.
It has touched an intraday high of Rs 687 and an intraday low of Rs 682.
It was trading with volumes of 372,016 shares, compared to its five day average of 1,613,066 shares, a decrease of -76.94 percent.
