KL University Director  P. Sai Vijay receives ‘Change-Maker’ award

Director of the Student Activity Centre (SAC) at KL Deemed to be University P. Sai Vijay has received ‘Change-Maker in Higher Education Innovation’ Award in recognition of his innovative efforts to transform student learning and connect education with social issues, technology, student interests, and real-world needs.

The award was presented at the Bharat Education Summit 2026, held on August 21 and 22 at Hitech City, Hyderabad. The summit brought together educators, experts, and representatives of institutions from across the country working in the areas of educational transformation, skill development, innovation and future-oriented education policies.

University representatives attributed the award to Mr. Vijay’s innovative approach to education, which seeks to take students beyond merely learning the prescribed curriculum and empower them to develop solutions to real-world problems.

KL University Vice-Chancellor G. Parthasaradhi Varma, Pro Vice-Chancellors N. Venkat Ram and K. Rajasekhara Rao, Registrar K. I. Pavan Kumar, Dean-in-Charge of the Student Welfare Department K. R. S. Prasad, Advisor Habibulla Khan, and others congratulated Mr. Vijay on receiving the award.

The summit also featured the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Ignited Minds Awards for Higher Education.
