Trump H-1B Visa Fee Hike: After United States President Donald Trump gave the green light to raise the fee for H-1B visas to a whopping USD 100,000 annually, US-based tech companies are under tension. Notably, Indian companies have sponsored about 13,396 H-1B visas. Now, with the new order, the fees will be increased from USD 13.4 million to USD 1.34 billion. This amount is equal to the combined net profits of TCS, Infosys, HCLTech, Cognizant, and LTIMindtree in the financial year 2025.
