State ropes in firms from Karnataka to set up shop in Hosur

Hosur takes centre stage in Tamil Nadu’s growth journey, with fresh investments worth several crores set to be signed at the T.N. Rising Hosur Investors Summit on Thursday (September 11, 2025).
Interestingly, Tamil Nadu has managed to woo investments from companies headquartered in its neighbouring State, Karnataka.
Among the major deals to be signed is an MoU with Bengaluru-based Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses Private Limited, entailing investments to the tune of ₹5,000 crore. The firm has proposed to set up a solar cell manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. The project will augment the domestic solar value chain by catalysing ancillary industries (glass, backsheets, silver paste, machinery), and boost energy security by green exports. This deal will generate over 3,000 jobs.

Bengaluru-headquartered HI-Q Electronics Private Limited will invest ₹425 crore to establish a PCB manufacturing facility. The project is expected to generate 400 jobs. The facility will focus on advanced electronics manufacturing capabilities and production infrastructure.
ASM Technologies Limited has proposed a new investment of ₹250 crore to establish a manufacturing facility. It will focus on design Led Manufacturing of equipment for the electronics, semiconductor, solar and allied industries. This deal will generate 1,100 jobs.
Zettaone Technologies India Private Ltd. will be making an additional investment of ₹100 crore to establish an ESDM (Electronics System Design and Manufacturing) facility in Krishnagiri. The project will generate 500 jobs and strengthen Tamil Nadu’s growing ESDM ecosystem. The facility will focus on advanced electronic system design and manufacturing capabilities.
Chennai-headquartered JLK Automation (India) Private Ltd. will invest ₹100 crore to establish a manufacturing facility for Precision Automation Machines in Krishnagiri. The project will generate 450 jobs.
