Prime Video sets July 4 premiere for Telugu original Uppu Kappurambu
Prime Video has announced the global premiere date of its upcoming Telugu Original film Uppu Kappurambu. Produced by Radhika Lavu under Ellanar Films and directed by Ani. I.V. Sasi, with writing by Vasanth Maringanti, the film is set in the 1990s and follows the residents of Chitti Jayapuram, a fictional South Indian village dealing with growing pressure on its burial infrastructure.
Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Keerthy Suresh, Suhas, Babu Mohan, Shatru, and Talluri Rameshwari, the coming-of-age satire blends humour with social commentary. The film will premiere on Prime Video on July 4, streaming in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, reaching audiences in India and over 240 countries and territories.
